Search the VSIS WWW-Server and Document Archive
How Does Search Work?
The VSIS Search Tool searches the VSIS WWW-Servers (vsis-www, print-www, osm-www) and the VSIS
document archive. To search, click on the field ``Find:'' above and enter your
search word or phrase. Then press ENTER to start the search.
You can look for complete or partial words or phrases as well as use
Boolean (and/or) logic to narrow your search.
Options:
To perform a case sensitive search, select ``Case sensitive''.
To search for complete words, select ``Complete word search''.
Examples:
- Distributed Systems
- Returns items containing both Distributed AND Systems.
- Distributed or Systems
- Returns items containing either Distributed OR Systems.
- univers*
- Returns every item that contains a word that begins with
univers, such as University, Universe or Universal.
- "VSIS Homepage"
- Returns items that contain the exact phrase VSIS Homepage

help for formulating queries.
