VSIS Conftool is a Web-based online system that supports all important
phases of scientific conferences, workshops, symposiums and seminars.
It was developed to make the management of such events easier and
more time-saving.
VSIS ConfTool is suitable for the following tasks:
online submission of papers,
assignment to reviewers,
download of the submissions by the programme committee members,
submission of reviews,
support of the PC-meeting, allowing to set the acceptance status of the papers and assign them to sessions,
bulk mailings to different user groups like reviewers or authors,
conference registration,
participant administration,
participant registration at the conference site,
fully web-based, simple backoffice,
easy to install on servers with PHP4/5 and mysql,
robust and mature object-oriented code,
and much more...
VSIS Conftool is available as open/shared source, it is technically mature and we offer a free license
for smaller non-commercial conferences and events (i.e. only voluntary
staff, less than 150 participants, non-professional/regular organizers,
moderate participation fees).
A commercial version "ConfTool Pro" is available for bigger events and
regular organizers. It offers many additional features required for
bigger events, supports events with several tracks, and has many more
options for participant registration.
If you are interested in using ConfTool or ConfTool Pro for your event, please send a mail to
.
Please add some details about your conference.
It is always recommended to try using the demo installation of the standard version or the commercial pro version, to see if the systems suits your requirements.
The administrator password for the back office of these demos is also available at the above e-mail address.
Thanks to the VSIS-staff, especially Prof. W. Lamersdorf
Further thanks go to the many contributors of improvements, suggestions and bug fixes.

ConfTool (and its predecessors) was already used for over 100 conferences and workshops.
